Interesting that the emphasis here is on Heritage sites. I do think however the same point is fairly universal across the UK

Yesterday, wife driving up to a set of temporary (road-works) lights with the usual "When red light shows STOP here".
Where are the lights? Why is there only 3ft between the sign saying HERE and the closed lane (yes many had to back up). Oh - there'…

Hello!
I came via a fairly circuitous route; I was originally an ABD supporter, then started also visiting the drivers alliance, and then via a blog (will say which one when I'm on my own machine!) and that menitoned this site.
I generally hang around driver's rights and campaign sites, and have a keen interest in the subject.
I do like this site, with it's great selection of public idiocy when it comes to road and town planning! Hope to add more soon!
